What better excuse for a week’s holiday in sunny Spain than a good friend’s wedding? We headed off as a family for Mike & Helena’s wedding in Helena’s home town of Malaga. Concessions were made for the British contingent and the wedding was brought forward to 6pm! What a wedding is was though – lovely nuptial Mass, drinks reception at the Parador with beautiful sea views, al fresco dancing courtesy of mariachis, fabulous food and a night time reception which had us dancing till 3am. Wonderful! 
Post wedding, we headed to Nerja for a week basking in the sun, reading, swimming and of course liberal sampling of tapas & sangria...
